Mr Jeens’ Year 6 maths class took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge earlier this term and we have just received their fantastic results.

The competition is open for children across the country up to Year 8 and the questions are really challenging as a result. The top scoring children are given gold, silver or bronze awards and a select few are invited to compete in the second “Kangaroo” round or the prestigious “Olympiad”.

We have 7 Participation Awards for

Of those receiving gold awards, Pradnya, Tatsav and James have been invited to compete in the “Kangaroo” round and Shreya has been invited to compete in the Junior Olympiad round. They will sit these rounds at school in June.
