Extra-Curricular Activities

Our enrichment programme offers variety, allowing children to broaden their experience, strengthen skills and build new friendship groups.

Banstead Prep offers an exceptional number of clubs free of charge to maximise options extend the school day for working parents.

Activities challenge and stimulate children in their free time and are designed to give them the opportunity to try new things, and to discover new talents and passions. Many of the activities are free of charge unless run by an external specialist provider. Each term there is an opportunity to try new or different clubs.

Clubs include chess, puzzles, sewing, gardening, cookery, football, gymnastics, swim squad, cricket, choir, computer coding and languages.  We are open to suggestions for new clubs and ideas can be discussed during Pupil Parliament meetings.

What age can children join clubs?

Clubs are available to children in Reception to Year 6.

Children in Nursery and Pre-School can attend wraparound care after school if required.

Are clubs included in the fees?

Many of the after school clubs are complimentary and run by our own teaching staff. Clubs run by external specialist providers will have their own set prices.

How do I book clubs?

A list of each new term’s clubs is sent to parents at the end of term. Bookings for clubs is taken by SOCS. You will be provided with a login when your child joins the school.

SOCS is the system used for booking clubs and wraparound care.
