Banstead Prep School supported theĀ Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal in December, which provides gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present.

The pandemic had an impact on many families, especially those whose income has been affected. With the support of our community, we collected many toys and gifts that were delivered to the church by the Year 6 Leaders in the last week of the Autumn Term.

We would like to pass on the Sutton Salvation Army Church’s message to everyone who has donated:

“On behalf of Sutton Salvation Army Church, I am writing to say Thank You to you and all for the wonderful way that you have supported our Christmas Toy Appeal. It is always a moving experience to see the way in which people selflessly help others and it is even more so during this Christmas that will be difficult for many families. This year we have been able to support over a hundred and fifty local families and over three hundred children who would otherwise receive little or nothing this Christmas.”

There are other ways that you can further support the charity. Visit their website here for more information.
