Our House Netball and Football competitions were slightly different this year to provide opportunities for competitive play whilst external competitions are restricted.  We chose to run the tournament as a mixed event, with our girls and boys working together to teach each other skills in the alternative sport in practice sessions, and it proved to be a huge success.

Matches took place during the last two weeks and all four houses played against each of the others once. In the first week, the children competed in netball in the sports hall. The second week comprised of football matches on the all weather pitch. The team captains were nominated to lead the warm-ups and help their peers, which also provided an excellent opportunity to practice leadership skills.

The two competitions were played at very high standard across all year groups, the children showed excellent team spirit and relished the chance to compete. Well done everybody and Congratulations to Ashdown who won the overall competition!
