Our Science Showcase, organised by Mrs Clark, Science Subject Leader, provided an opportunity for family members to visit the science lab and get involved in some hands-on science with their children. Parents and carers were able to look at the work children have carried out this year, their science books were available and there were photographs and work on display as well as a slideshow of science-related activities at BPS.

The children in Years 1-6 were excited to share their science knowledge and everyone had a  great afternoon of experimentation and exploration. From burglar alarms created by Year 6, viscosity tests by Year 5 and skeletons drawn by Year 3 to animal track identification in Year 1, it was amazing to see so much scientific enquiry going on.

Mrs Clark said ‘It was a marvellous opportunity to exhibit the children’s work and for parents and carers to join them in carrying out some investigations.’
