The whole school got involved in our second annual House Christmas Song Competition, preparing and performing a Christmas Song in front of children and staff, and Miss Ellis and Mrs Riley as independent adjudicators.
House Leaders met first thing in the morning to draw their House’s song out of a hat before the houses gathered together to rehearse and plan their dance routines. Then after a short break, it was back to the hall for the competition. Points were awarded for choreography, singing, teamwork, presentation and enthusiasm.
The final results were:
- Dursley 41 points
- Helmsdale 46 points
- Grappenhall 43 points
- Ashdown 46 points
Too close to call so this year’s joint winners were Ashdown and Helmsdale! Congratulations!
