In drama this half-term the children in 3G have been practising for a performance of the play ‘Fifty Farthings Short.’ It is about a group of mice who want to help their friend pay for her cottage otherwise she will have to leave. They form an alliance with a cat to get rid of her wicked housekeeper. In return, the cat will help the mice find the money.
The children only had five weeks to prepare for the performance and had a lot of lines to learn. They did exceptionally well speaking clearly to the audience and adapting their voice and physicality to create their characters.
