Adventurers had a wonderful time on their first visit of the term to a Boogie Beat session at the Sunrise Senior Living Care Home in Banstead.
Children in Banstead Prep School’s Nursery Adventurers class have been enjoying intergenerational music and movement classes led by Julie at Boogie Beat Banstead at the Sunrise Senior Living care home. After a quick introduction and handshake with the residents, the children participated in fun and interactive activities. The children absolutely loved the stories, dancing and singing with Julie and Giggles the Monkey. The residents also enjoyed watching the children’s little happy faces. The session ended with singing nursery rhymes all together and then it was time to say bye to Giggles and the lovely residents.
