We are excited to announce that BPS has been accepted on to the Ofsted recognised Primary Science Quality Mark Programme (PSQM). This award scheme, run by The University of Hertfordshire and the Primary Science Teaching Trust celebrates and helps to develop the quality of teaching and learning in Primary schools. As part of a year long process, it involves expert-led training and mentoring for those teaching Science.
We are already extremely proud of the quality of Science teaching at Banstead Prep, especially as our children in Key Stage 2 have the opportunity to experience hands-on Science in our well-equipped labs. We are always looking for ways to innovate and improve and we hope this support will help us to enhance our children’s experience of Science and make a positive impact on children’s progress, engagement and enjoyment.
