Year 1 and Year 2 visited Brooklands Museum Weybridge in order to support their History learning on transport.
Year 1 and Year 2 visited Brooklands Museum Weybridge in order to support their History learning on transport. Both classes were led by knowledgeable volunteers on a guided tour of the museum. The pupils were able to see bicycles, cars and aeroplanes from old to new and they even went on board Concorde!
After lunch, the pupils were free to explore the newest part of the museum where they discovered how things such as wings and wheels were made in the past. All of the children had a fantastic day and benefited from seeing real life examples of transport through time.
Harry, a Year 2 Pupil said "We had the best day! I loved going on board concorde!"
