Our very own Deputy Head, Mrs Nunn, has wowed us all with the revelation of a rather beautiful, shiny medal that she has recently been awarded for completing The London Classics!

The London Classics was created in 2017 to recognise and reward the growing band of very special participants who had completed three of the world’s most iconic mass participation events: the London Marathon, the RideLondon 100 and the two-mile event at Swim Serpentine.

Everyone who completes the three events receives the magnificent London Classics medal, engraved with the words Et ego Londinium vici (I too have conquered London) and is listed in the Hall of Fame. More than 4,000 athletes have completed the treble – Mrs Nunn had what it takes to join them!

She has taken resilience and determination to the extreme – Mrs Nunn ran the famous 26.2 miles of the London Marathon in 2012, cycled the spectacular 100 miles of the RideLondon 100 in 2014 and completed the two-mile swim at Swim Serpentine in the beautiful setting of Hyde Park most recently in September 2023, where she was awarded The London Classics medal in a special presentation after the finish of this event.

We could not be prouder of this fantastic achievement and the effort Mrs Nunn put in to get it!
