Our vision is to be a school that challenges, develops and nurtures every child, where every child is free to be themselves. We constantly strive to change and to improve, to deliver a modern education that prepares our children for an exciting future, encouraging them to aim high and dream big.
The Life Skills curriculum at Banstead Prep provides children with an opportunity to practise and develop important, transferable life skills. These directly relate to the BPS Learner Powers: Collaboration, Leadership, Independence, Curiosity, Adaptability, Communication, Resilience, and Pride. Through a carefully curated range of exciting lessons and activities, children in Years 3 – 6 develop their ‘learner powers’; these include but are not limited to, design challenges, critical thinking activities, debates, money skills, first aid, and cookery.
This evening we celebrated our wonderful Year 6 leavers at their special dinner — a moment filled with laughter, memories, and just a few tears. 🥹
To our incredible Year 6s: we will miss you dearly. Your energy, kindness, curiosity, and spirit have left a mark on Banstead Prep that won’t be forgotten. 💜
As you take this exciting next step to your senior schools, know that we couldn’t be prouder. You leave us ready — not just with strong academic foundations, but with confidence, resilience, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Go forward boldly, knowing that Banstead Prep will always be part of your story. ✨ Thank you to @photography_w_vee for being paparazzi today!
If you are looking for something fun to do in the shade over the weekend, take a look at the 'design a pin' competition below, featuring Jax from Year 1 who had a great time modelling for this recent shoot!
Congratulations to all our children on their incredible efforts during Sports Day 2025 - it was a wonderful display of determination, drive and team spirit!
Well done to those awarded medals and those achieving a personal best, and thank you for the spirit of encouragement that came from competitors and supporters alike.
The final cheer goes to Grappenhall - this year`s house champions 🏆
