Visiting the school

We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our Open Mornings or for a personal tour of the school, providing the opportunity to visit our Nursery and Prep School and see our senior school standard facilities. Find out more and reserve a place at an upcoming event here.

Registering your child for a place

To register your child for a place, please complete our online registration form. There is a non-refundable fee of £60 to register your child for a place. Please send a copy of your child’s passport or birth certificate to admissions@bansteadprep.com to complete their application.

A deposit of £500 is payable on acceptance of a place.  The deposit is returned after your child has left the school.  If you accept a place and subsequently withdraw acceptance, the school will retain your deposit and may charge a term’s fees in lieu of notice unless a full term’s notice is provided.  For more details please see our standard terms and conditions.

When your child can start

Our main entry points are Pre-School and Reception in September. Children can also join in January or April, subject to availability.

The earliest your child can join our Nursery is from the academic year in which they turn three years old.

We welcome applications for all year groups, so if you’re looking for a place outside the usual entry points, please do get in touch.
