Banstead Prep Supporter’s Association

The Banstead Prep Supporters Association (BPSA) is our parent-led community group that plays a vital role in school life.

Working alongside the school, it brings parents, carers and staff together to enhance the experience of all children at Banstead Prep.

The BPSA is made up of elected parent volunteers, including roles such as Chair, Treasurer and other supporting positions. Together, the committee coordinates events, manages fundraising and helps to ensure the parent voice is heard within the school community.

Regular meetings with the Head provide an open and constructive channel for sharing ideas, discussing feedback and strengthening communication between families and the school.

What we do

The BPSA organises a wide range of events and initiatives throughout the year, including:

Summer Fair
Year 6 Leaver’s Ball
Community and seasonal events for families

These events are designed to bring families together, create lasting memories for the children, and raise valuable funds for the school.

Funds raised by the BPSA go directly back into enhancing school life. Recent projects have included exciting improvements such as new playground equipment, helping to create inspiring spaces for children to play, explore and develop.

Every event, purchase and contribution helps us continue to invest in the children’s experience.

The Used Uniform Shop

The BPSA also runs our pre-loved uniform shop, making it easier for families to access good-quality uniform at affordable prices while supporting sustainability within the school community.

It’s a simple way to save money and reduce waste, all in one place.

The Banstead Perk

One of our most loved community initiatives is the Banstead Perk – our very own coffee shop open on Friday mornings from 8:30–10:00am during term time.

It’s a welcoming space for parents to meet, catch up, and enjoy a coffee while supporting the school. Whether you stay for five minutes or the whole morning, it’s a lovely way to start the day.
