Our Year 5 pupils have enjoyed a fantastic week on their residential trip at Condover Hall, packed with adventure, discovery and unforgettable experiences.
The excitement began with a visit to the magnificent Warwick Castle. From its spectacular surroundings and fascinating history to the impressive birds of prey, the children embraced the opportunity to learn and discover more about this iconic landmark. The adventure then continued at full speed, with the children throwing themselves into a range of exciting activities including zip wiring and archery. Year 5 ended the day around a cosy campfire, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Day two brought more beautiful weather and even more-action packed activities. They demonstrated excellent teamwork in laser tag and axe-throwing, where it became very clear that year 5 had some impressive hidden talents.
Day 3 was even more exciting, as Year 5 stepped back in time at Blists Hill Victorian town, a fascinating living museum that brought history to life. The children were incredibly curious, engaged and eager to learn as they explored what everyday life was like during the Victorian era. From learning about candle making and Victorian schooling to watching demonstrations of iron working and printing, the pupils embraced every opportunity.
The trip was a success, with year 5 developing confidence, resilience and friendships whilst embracing every new challenge. Year 5 have returned full of stories and new knowledge, ready for their next adventure!
