We are thrilled to introduce Mrs Lisa Crook, who has been appointed as Banstead Prep’s Deputy Headteacher – Teaching, Learning and Innovation and will begin her new role in the summer term.
Lisa is currently the Deputy Headteacher at Homefield Preparatory School and brings a wealth of diverse experience in strategic leadership and innovation in both independent and state primary and secondary schools. She has a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management and has previously led on school improvement for a group of academies.
Outside of the classroom, Lisa is a keen swimmer who enjoys the freedom and joy of the water. She has a love for musical theatre and finds escape in the pages of a good book. As a mother to an active and excitable 7-year-old, she understands the importance of fostering creativity and individuality in children.
Reflecting on her reasons for joining BPS, Lisa shared, “I wanted to work at Banstead Prep because I believe in creating an environment where every child feels valued and empowered to express themselves and achieve their full potential. I’m excited to become part of a community that actively encourages children to be the very best version of themselves and supports their unique journeys.”
Lisa impressed all those that met her during the selection process, giving us confidence that the alignment of her experience and skills with Banstead Prep’s values and perspective on education will make a significant positive contribution to the school’s ongoing success.
We were fortunate to have a field of incredibly well qualified and experienced candidates for this role, which gives us immense pride in the strong external perception of our amazing school.
We know that our Banstead Prep School community will welcome Lisa with the usual warmth and enthusiasm and we are all looking forward to working with her.
