Founded in 2017, Banstead Prep is a co-educational prep school for girls and boys aged 2–11, where every child is encouraged to aim high, dream big, and grow into their unique potential.

At Banstead Prep, we support families and children every step of the way on their journey to secondary school—whether selective grammar, independent, or local state schools. Our broad, challenging curriculum and specialist teaching help children thrive academically while discovering their passions.

From Nursery to Year 6, children build strong foundations in English, Maths, Science, Languages, Humanities, Arts, and PE. Combined with our Learner Powers—Communication, Adaptability, Independence, Collaboration, Resilience, Curiosity, Leadership, and Pride—our pupils develop the skills and confidence to succeed at their next school.

At Banstead Prep, we keep fees affordable while offering exceptional value, backed by the stability and investment of United Learning.

Nursery & Pre-School (full-time): £4,483.50
Reception – Year 2: £4,862.76
Years 3 – 6: £6,372.74
Lunch (Reception – Year 6): £399

Nursery & Pre-School Sessions
To make the most of our setting, we encourage full-time attendance, especially in Pre-School, so children can enjoy the full range of learning opportunities and develop strong routines ahead of Reception. Session patterns can be tailored individually, though all Pre-School children are expected to attend full-time during the summer term before Reception.

Our convenient and flexible wraparound care supports families with busy schedules, with Breakfast Club from 7:30am and After-School Care until 6:00pm. Families can also take advantage of monthly and flexible payment plans.

We accept Free Early Years Funding for up to three hours per morning session as well as Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare payments. Sibling discounts are available, along with free wraparound care for siblings at the end of the school day.

In-Action Open Day – Thursday 12 February
See Banstead Prep on a normal school day. Tour Nursery to Year 6, hear from our Head, and get a feel for our teaching, learning and school community in action.

Early Years Open House – Saturday 14 March
Drop in between 9.00–11.00am to explore Nursery, Pre-school and Reception. Meet the Early Years team, ask questions and let your child play as you look around. (Please note: full school tours aren’t available at this event.)

Stay and Play Sessions – Thursdays in Spring Term
Join us for a series of fun, friendly and free morning sessions designed for parents and their little ones.
