Who’s it for?

This Open House is ideal for families considering Nursery, Pre-School or Reception for September 2026 and beyond, and for parents who understand just how important those first steps into education really are.

Our Early Years is a warm, nurturing environment designed to support confident transitions into school life. Learning takes place in classrooms equipped specifically for early education, helping children settle quickly and feel secure from day one.

Our future-focused curriculum, developed in partnership with Kingston University, is rooted in purposeful play and child-led learning. It’s designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and begin developing the skills children need for the future — while keeping the joy of childhood firmly at the heart of everything we do.

Each class is led by a qualified Early Years teacher, supported by experienced Early Years Practitioners who provide bespoke support, stretch and challenge tailored to every individual learner.

Alongside this strong Early Years foundation, children also benefit from the wider opportunities Banstead Prep is known for. The core timetable includes PE, Music, Languages, STEM and Outdoor Learning, taught by subject specialists and supported by excellent facilities — offering a gentle introduction to school life without ever losing the nurturing feel of Early Years.
