These visits are a great way to get a real feel for our school.
3. Register
When you feel Banstead Prep is the right fit, you can formally register your child.
- Submit a registration form
- Pay the £60 (non-refundable) registration fee
- Please use your child’s name as the reference when making payment.
Bank details: Sort code: 20-46-50 Account Number: 80038830
To complete the application, please email a copy of your child’s passport or birth certificate to admissions@bansteadprep.com.
4. Taster
Your child will be invited to a taster session 1-2 terms before the desired start date so they can experience school life and feel at home.
- Nursery & Pre-School: One-hour session with a parent present
- Reception: Two hours in class with children of the same age
- Years 1–6: A full day in school, joining lessons and enjoying lunch
Children joining mid-year (Reception and above) will spend time in the class they would likely join if offered a place.
5. Offer OF A PLACE
Following a successful taster visit, we will request (where applicable):
- Your child’s most recent school report
- A reference from their current school
Once received, a formal offer will be made. To accept a place, a £500 deposit is payable. This deposit is refunded when your child leaves the school.
If a place is accepted and later withdrawn, the deposit will be retained and the school may charge one term’s fees in lieu of notice unless a full term’s notice is given. Full details can be found in our standard terms and conditions.
