A very warm welcome back to all our families and welcome to our new families as we begin a new term at Banstead Prep School. I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful few weeks of celebration over the Christmas and Hanukkah period and were able to spend some special time together with family and friends. I would like to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year.
The recent spell of cold weather has certainly reminded us that winter is well and truly here. While it can be hard getting up on these cold winter mornings, it is great to be back into a routine, and I am sure both you and the children will appreciate the familiarity and structure it brings. It has been a joy to see the children embracing the season so enthusiastically, particularly those who have been busy playing in the snow and creating some fantastic snowmen. As a reminder, my snowman-building competition closes on Sunday evening, so please do send any photographs of snowmen to me via your form teacher or the School Office before then. The winners will be announced in our assembly on Monday, and I am very much looking forward to seeing all the entries.
Thank you to our class reps for a very useful meeting today. It is always so valuable to hear your feedback, to learn what is going well, and to discuss how we can continue to improve and develop as a school community.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend and look forward to another exciting week ahead at Banstead Prep.
Mr C
