The children spent some time in the Look and Sea Centre, looking at smuggling and ship wrecks over the years and compass directions from the top of the observation tower. They all enjoyed using the binoculars to spot key landmarks.

They also visited the Lifeboat Centre where they learnt all about the importance of staying safe in the water and how lifeboat crews prepare for emergency situations. The children especially enjoyed dressing up in the lifeboat crew uniforms.

We then took a walk along the beachfront where everyone stopped and enjoyed a well deserved ice cream!

Zayam, Year 2

I loved looking through the binoculars, I saw a castle, a lighthouse and lots of boats!
