Chinese New Year assembly

Mrs Chung joined us for assembly on Wednesday morning to talk about Chinese New Year. We heard about the fascinating Lion Dance, the large amount of food that gets eaten on New Year's Eve and how the celebrations go on for 15 days! By the end, all children had worked out which year of the Zodiac they were born in and that 2018 is the year of the Dog. A huge thank you to Mrs Chung for presenting such an interesting assembly – which was followed 3 hours later by a delicious Chinese lunch!
